AfDB to provide 25 million jobs in Africa

The African Development Bank Group`s project includes a plan of creating 25 million jobs for young people over the next 10 years.

Jobs and energy are among the focus areas that will be discussed during the annual meetings of the African Development Bank that will take place in Lusasa, Zambia from May 23 to May 27.

The president of AfDB, Dr Akinwumi Adesina has pointed out recently in his speech during the World Economic Forum in Rwanda, that 645 million people have no access to electricity in Africa and assured that the bank would invest $12.5 billion in five years to increase Africa`s energy capacity.
