Brazilian co-operatives exports up by 8.4% in Q1

Brazilian agricultural cooperatives exports grew 8.4% in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the same period last year, M-Brain – News Monitoring reported on Tuesday. The total value of exports for the first four months of this year is USD 1.80bn.

Soy beans were the leading exported product with USD 348.2mn Ins sales, while China is the main destination of the exports with a total of 434.8mn. Agricultural cooperative’s imports with a worth of 116.7mn have increased by 20.6% year-on- year.
