Czech Republic rated most attractive for investors in Eastern Europe

The Czech Republic is the most attractive country for investors in Eastern Europe, the Czech News Agency (CTK) reported citing a ranking conducted by consulting firm BDO alongside the Hamburg Institute of International Economics.

Each country in the survey has been assessed mainly on the basis of economic and political indicators. The economic area included indicators such as GDP average per capita, inflation and taxation while the main issues in the political part were stability and business freedom.

On global level, the Czech Republic ranked 23rd and is directly after Taiwan and ahead of Israel. The top position in the ranking was given to Singapore, CTK noted.
