International firms offering new transportation technology have gathered in India thanks to the country’s quest for smart mobility, Mint News has reported. Among the companies reported to have expressed interest in investing in India’s smart transportation industry are NASA’s skyTran and Virgin Hyperloop One.

A government official has told Mint News that India’s mobility business is steadily becoming smart and green, citing the FASTag project introduced by the National Highways Authority of India as an example.
