Hungary’s MOL opens USD 15m gas processing plant in Pakistan

Hungary’s oil and gas group MOL has opened a USD 15 million gas processing plant in Pakistan, the Budapest Business Journal (BBJ) reported. The facility, which is located near the northern city of Kohat, was commissioned at the end of 2017 to process gas from the Tolanj X-1 and Tolanj West-1 gas wells.

MOL, which is Pakistan's biggest LPG producer, also plans other significant investments in the Asian country, with the support of the local government. It has an 8.42% stake in production of the TAL block near Kohat, BBJ noted.
