Hungary, Austria, Slovenia agree to jointly develop self-driving vehicles

Hungary, Austria and Slovenia have signed a co-operation deal for the joint development of self-driving vehicles, Hungary AM reported.

Under the terms of the agreement, the three countries will co-develop not only autonomous cars but also intelligent mobility devices as well as the necessary communications networks and infrastructure.

The Austrian minister for transport, innovation and technology, Norbert Hofer, described the agreement as a big step towards a positive future for the whole European Union (EU), Hungary AM noted.
