Indonesia is 2nd favourite destination for investments

Oikos Mando Panjaitan of the Bank of Indonesia announced, “This January, Indonesia emerged as the number two among favourite investment destinations, after China.” As proof of this, he cited the rise of investment realizations to about 15% from last year, as well as increased employment. Also, foreign and domestic investments each grew more than 10%.

Panjaitan also mentioned that the World Economic Forum (WEF) finds the country’s performance vastly improved in terms of law enforcement on corruption, ease of doing business and attracting investments.
