Iran’s Mobarakeh Steel to become second-largest group in terms of capital
Iranian Mobarakeh Steel Co. (MSC) will become the second-largest group by capital in the country as its request to increase its registered capital to IRR 210 trillion from IRR 130 trillion has been approved, Steel Business Briefing (SBB) reported referring to the Tehran Stock Exchange.
Thus, thanks to the nod of the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, MSC will come right after Tejarat Bank. It is already the biggest Iranian steel producer with nominal capacity for 10.3 million mt per year of crude steel output, SBB noted.
