Iran introduces ferry, delivery service to Qatar
Iran has introduced a ferry and delivery service to Qatar, bne Intellinews reported. Last week, the Middle Eastern country launched a large cargo ship called the Grand Ferry that will sail a route from the Qatari southern port of Bandar Bushehr to Hamad Port in Doha.
The shipping service will provide cargo transportation for goods on pallets and in various types of containers. Its goal is to ease transportation and boost trade ties between Iran and Qatar.
Over the past 18 months, Doha has managed to enhance its business and political relations with Iran and Turkey. The boosted partnership ties are explained with the trade and diplomatic blockade of the country imposed by Saudi-led Arab states, bne Intellinews noted.Original source: bne Intellinews
