L'Oreal ready to expand presence in India
The company is already holding talks with a few potential targets. L'Oreal is interested in skin and make-up segment mostly and is looking for local high-quality brands to produce products specifically for its Indian customers.
L'Oreal sees strong potential in the Indian market where young population is very eager to follow global fashion trends and seeks a variety at a lower price, e-Eighteen Newswire said. India's beauty and personal care market was estimated at some Rs 97,100 crore in 2018. The market is expected to grow at a double-digit pace of around 17.4% by 2022.
