New Istanbul Airport serves 4.11m passengers in April

Turkey’s newest hub Istanbul Airport served a total of 4.11 million passengers in April 2019, Bidsinfo News reported referring to data provided by the airport's operator IGA. The facility took over Ataturk Airport’s operations as the transfer was completed on April 6.

Last month, a total of 13,233 flights landed at Istanbul Airport while 13,287 flights took off from the hub. The amount of baggage units processed was over three million.
