Poland’s PMI slips to 50.4 in Oct

Poland's Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) dropped to 50.4 in October from 50.5 in September, the Budapest Business Journal (BBJ) reported citing data provided by IHS Markit. The figures show that the country’s manufacturing activity has been progressing at its slowest pace in two years. Still, the sector is still expanding as its level is above 50.

Over the reported month, new orders and output in the country booked a slight increase. Jobs, on the other hand, were cut for the first time in five years. New export orders in Poland also declined and even at their fastest rate in six years, BBJ noted.
