Private firm inaugurates USD 63m solar power plant in Vietnam
The facility, which has a production capacity of 50 MWp, is the first one of its kind in the area and is expected to contribute to the province's socio-economic development in the future. The region is also seeking foreign and domestic investment in two other solar power plants.
The opening of the new plant is in line with Vietnam’s ambition to develop its solar power plant. Hanoi’s solar system is said to have the potential to reach 35,000 MW by 2030, Thai EconomicNews Service noted.
