Some 69% of Polish people optimistic about economy -- poll

As many as 69% of the people in Poland said that the current economic situation in the country was good, the Polish News Bulletin (PNB) reported referring to a survey conducted by Pew Research. The trend is positive as the figure has booked growth of 40 percentage points since 2009.

According to 68% of the respondents the financial situation of ordinary people in Poland was better than 20 years earlier. Poles are also optimistic about the future as 59% of the participants in the survey think that the financial situation in the country would improve further.

The poll of Pew Research was taken among the citizens of 27 countries, with Poland proving as one of the most optimistic ones, PNB added.
