Turkey’s automotive industry exports stand at USD 25.4bn for Jan-Oct
Turkey’s automotive industry saw its exports reach USD 25.4 billion for the period between January and October 2019, Hurriyet Daily News reported referring to data provided by the Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OIB).
For October 2019 alone, exports slipped by 3.5% on an annual basis to USD 2.8 billion. The slowdown was explained with a decline in exports of motor vehicles for goods transport and tow trucks.
Yet, the automotive sector held a 17% share in Turkey’s overall exports for October, ranking first among other industries. The country’s top exports destination for last month was Germany, followed by France and Italy, Hurriyet Daily News added.Sign in and read the full article in emis.com, and find out more about EMIS.
