Turkey, Qatar to ink trade, economic partnership deal

The deal will involve a liberalization of goods and services trading between the two countries and will also include the telecommunications and financial services sectors. The new ties boost aims to further prove the close relations between Ankara and Doha.
Last month, the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) signed a currency swap agreement, establishing a two-way currency exchange line. A year earlier, the two countries inked a series of trade and co-operation agreements in the food, construction, pharmaceutical, transport and logistics sectors, CEEMarketWatch added.
