VW to invest PLN 2bn in new facilities in Poland

The Poznan-based unit of German carmaker Volkswagen (VW) plans to invest some PLN 2 billion in new facilities, machines and equipment in 2019 and 2020, the Polish News Bulletin (PNB) reported.

In the meantime, VW Poznan has just launched its new logistics hall with offices and employee facilities in Antoninek. The new facility, which covers an area of 46,000 sq m, will include nearly 10,000 containers with car production parts.

By the middle of 2020, VW Poznan wants to complete an expansion of its welding shop, PNB added.
