Chinese group plans to open three new technology centres in country

Chinese telecoms equipment maker ZTE Corp plans to enhance its investment in Turkey and to open three new technology centres in the country, EIU - Industry Briefings reported referring to the company’s president Yin Timin.

The investment will be made through ZTE’s local subsidiary Netas Telekomunikasyon AS (Netas) but its amount was not disclosed.

Back in August, ZTE bought a 48% stake in Netas for USD 101.3 million which was its largest investment abroad by that time. ZTE also expects the Turkish telecommunications provider’s value to go over USD 1 billion in the next five years, EIU - Industry Briefings added.
