The largest shareholder and promoter of the bank is the Local government of Umm Al Qaiwain. NBQ provides retail and corporate banking services through its network of 11 branches across the UAE. In addition to conventional banking, the bank also offers Islamic banking services through its Islamic Banking window, which was established in 2005. The bank maintains high capital adequacy and liquidity ratios, reflecting its strong financial resilience.
