ProCredit Bank d.d. was established as a joint-stock company in October 1997 by international financial institutions and investors under the name Micro Enterprise Bank d.d. It was renamed to ProCredit Bank d.d. BiH in 2004. The bank is a member of the ProCredit group, which is led by its Frankfurt-based parent company, ProCredit Holding. The Bosnian lender is a development-oriented bank, which focuses on credit financing of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Its main activities include commercial lending, receiving of deposits, foreign exchange deals, and payment operation services in the country and abroad and retail banking services. In addition, ProCredit Bank BiH provides trade finance facilities to companies for export and import purposes. ProCredit Bank BiH operates a network of some 30 branches across the country.
