The Company s principal activities is to import raw cotton and manufacture different counts of yarn through the cotton spinning mills. The marketing of the products is undertaken by the company s own sales force to the export-oriented knitting weaving mills.
The Company owns and operates a modern textile spinning mills of spindles and rotors.
The Company was incorporated in Bangladesh as a Public Company with limited liability on 20th of July, 1985 and commenced commercial operation in 1989.
The Company went for initial public issue of shares in 1990 and floated right offer of shares in 1995 which were listed on Dhaka Stock Exchanges and on Chittagong Stock Exchanges in 2001.
The Company has informed that the Board of Directors has decided to hold an EGM to seek shareholders approval to change the Company s name from Tallu Spinning Mills Ltd. to Toyo Spinning Mills Limited . Date of EGM: 17 February 2018.
