Esseterre Bulgaria EOOD is a company located in Dobrich, Bulgaria. It was incorporated in 2015 as an investment with 100% ownership by the American retail corporation for essential oils, dōTERRA. Since the opening of its first distillation unit in June 2016 in Dobrich, the company has been continuously developing, increasing its production capacity and workforce. Esseterre's production facilities are solely focused on meeting the essential oil needs of dōTERRA and therefore do not offer products on the domestic market. The company processes various essential oil crops, which it sources through long-term partnerships with local agricultural producers or imports from foreign markets. The distillery processes several types of raw materials, including herbs, flowers, seeds, woods, and resins, primarily producing yellow and blue oils. The distillation units operate around the clock, year-round, and the team and technological equipment used are entirely Bulgarian. Esseterre is one of the few distilleries in Bulgaria with its own research center and specialists. The company invests in state-of-the-art production equipment, a high-class laboratory, its own experimental field, specialized vehicles, and young professionals.
