Kolowag AD is a company located in Septemvri, Bulgaria. It was established in 1941 as a railway carriage repair shop. The company specializes in performing middle and general repairs of passenger and freight wagons with spacing of 760 mm and 1435 mm. In 1983, Kolowag built the first production hall in Bulgaria for the repair and completion of wheel sets. Currently, Kolowag is the only enterprise in the country that produces new wheel sets and repairs and revises old wheel sets. The company underwent successful privatization in 1999 and is now a private venture, with all shareholders actively working within the company.
