Professional Football Club Levski (PFC Levski) was founded in 1914. In 1960 the club started the construction of the stadium "Georgi Asparuhov" in the capital Sofia.
PFC Levski has been Champion of Bulgaria 26 times and in 2007 it won the Cup of Bulgaria for 25th time.
Professional Football Club Levski is a joint stock company since 1998. It has a Supervisory Board, Management Board and an executive director.
The main shareholder of the company is Todor Batkov, who is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the first Bulgarian gsm operator M-tel, and a chairman of Board of Directors of Standart News. He has been managing the club since 2004.
