Quadrant Beverages, former Agrima, which was established in 1993, is the official manufacturer and distributor of Pepsi soft drink in Bulgaria under a licence granted by U.S. soft drinks giant PepsiCo Inc. The beverages sold and produced by the company include Pepsi, Prisun, mineral water Danya, Belisima table water and Lipton ice tea.
In April 2000, Agrima together with Germany's Condor & Neckermann Touristic AG and a management-employee buyout company Zlatni AD formed a consortium to buy a 76% stake in Bulgarian Black Sea resort Zlatni Pyasatsi for USD 96.2 million. The soft drinks company acquired a 3.8% stake in the resort.
As of 2001, Agrima distributes the Prisun juices and nectars under a licence from Israel's Prigat International.
In July 2007, the Bulgarian competition authority gave its consent for the planned sale of 99% in Agrima to Cyprus-registered firm Quadrant European Beverages Bulgaria, part of Israeli company Quadrant European Beverages. In August, Agrohold sold its 99% stake in the company to local Quadrant Bulgaria Beverage, a fully-owned subsidiary of Quadrant European Beverages Bulgaria.
In 2008, Quadrant Bulgaria Beverages and Agrima merged under the Quadrant Beverages name.
