Sofia Flight Training EOOD (Bulgaria)

The Air Transport Institute EOOD, located in Sofia, was founded in 1971 as part of the State Economic Association BGA "Balkan". In 1992, the company gained legal and economic independence. Initially, the company was involved in technological design and consulting activities. In 1999, it obtained a license as an aviation training center, which gradually became its main activity. Sofia Flight Training (the trade name for the company's qualification activities) is certified and focuses on the training of pilots, cabin crew, technical maintenance personnel, security personnel, and airport workers. The training center has 6 flight simulators, including 4 full flight simulators, 4 training facilities for cabin crew, 3 training workshops, specialized aviation software for computer-based training, 15 classrooms, and specialized aviation training laboratories. With its highly qualified staff and extensive facilities and equipment, the center is an important structure in the civil aviation training system in Bulgaria and the region.
