Sparky AD is active in the design, engineering and production of welded parts, road construction machines, transportation and agricultural machines. The company, which is based in the Danube city Rousse, was founded in 1907 as a German factory for agricultural machinery and equipment. In 1989 the firm was renamed to Agromachine, Rousse. In 1997 the Privatization Agency sold 70% of the capital of the factory to the German Sparky GmbH.
