TNT Bulgaria EOOD (Bulgaria)

Dutch mail and logistics company TNT NV operates in Bulgaria since the early 1990s. Initially, it operated with a local agent and a local courier company called Balkan Courier. In December 1995, the Dutch company registered its local arm called TNT Bulgaria. TNT Bulgaria, which operates 22 offices throughout the country, delivers parcels and cargo shipments to 200 countries worldwide.
In April 2007, the company launched a trans-border Balkan Express service for Bulgaria-based companies seeking express land shipments to and from Greece and Romania. The service enables firms in Bulgaria to deliver cargo door-to-door to Thessaloniki in its southern neighbour Greece and to Bucharest in the north within two working days. For destinations outside those cities, the delivery will take up to three days. In November the same year, TNT launched two new services in Bulgaria - 10:00 Express and 12:00 Economy Express. The 12:00 Economy Express is a time guaranteed, day-specific, door-to-door delivery service for less urgent shipments.
