Toplofikatsiya Sofia, established in 1957, is the heating utility operating in Bulgaria's capital Sofia. The company is engaged in the production and distribution of heating steam and hot water and production of electric power. The firm, which owns a pipeline network of more than 950 kilometers, delivers heat energy to more than 430,000 customers in the capital. The district heating company has a capacity of over 3,000 MW of heating power, and 280 MW of electricity. It has 4 organizational units - Sofia, Sofia East, Zemlyane and Lyulin.
