The Bahrain National Holding Company was incoporated in 1998, as a Bahraini public shareholding company, by Charter of His Highness the Amir of the State of Bahrain to transact various types of investment business. The Company was listed on the Bahrain Stock exchange on 3 January 1999. The company is involved as an insurance holding company and transacts various types of investment business. The Company is the asset management and corporate arm of the Group, which includes also its subsidiaries and associate companies. Bahrain National Holding Company BSC operates two subsidiaries, Bahrain National Insurance Company BSC (BNI) and Bahrain National Life Assurance Company BSC (BNL).
