Siderurgica J.L. Aliperti S.A. is a company located in São Paulo, Brazil. It was founded on January 2, 1924, starting as a small workshop in the Brás neighborhood, dedicated to repairing carts and carriages. In 1932, the company began steel production in its facilities in the Água Funda neighborhood in São Paulo. Over time, the production grew and diversified, manufacturing various profiles and rods, mainly for the construction industry and exporting to several countries. Despite being one of the leading steel companies in the country for many years, in October 1998, the company signed a lease agreement for its industrial park with Gerdau S/A. In April 2005, the company acquired the right to produce helical springs in the municipality of Sorocaba, São Paulo. In 2015, it withdrew from the market by selling its rights to Fama S/A. Currently, Aliperti is involved in the general administration of other companies within the group.
