Aclin Laboratory began operations in September 1987 as a provider of laboratory testing services at the Vina del Mar Institute for Workplace Safety (IST). In 2001, already separated from the IST and to meet the needs of the region, it moved to its current facilities located at Calle 9 Norte No. 795, corner with 1 Oriente in Viña del Mar, where there is a physical facility of 500 m² tools.
