Guangxi Radio and Television Information Network Corporation Limited (referred to as Guangxi Radio and Television Network Company or the Company) is a state-owned cultural enterprise established in 2004 as the first shareholding cultural enterprise in the country to integrate the region's radio and television network assets. It is the only cable radio and television operator in Guangxi. In August 2016, Guangxi Radio and Television Network Company issued A-shares and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, becoming the first listed cultural enterprise in five minority autonomous regions in the country (stock name: Guangxi Radio and Television, stock code: 600936). In 2019, Guangxi Radio and Television Network Company was included in the first batch of key demonstration enterprises leading the construction of digital Guangxi. In 2020, Guangxi Radio and Television Network Company invested 200 million yuan in cash to participate in the integration of the national cable television network and the establishment of China Radio and Television Network Corporation Limited, becoming one of the shareholders of China Radio and Television Network Corporation Limited. Guangxi Radio and Television Network Company is mainly engaged in comprehensive information services such as radio and television network construction and operation, radio and television program transmission, digital television program value-added services, data dedicated network services, and broadband internet access. With the vision of "being an expert in providing good digital life services in the new era," the company deeply implements the strategies of high-definition, intelligence, platform, and ecological development. It promotes the integration of traditional and emerging media, accelerates the construction of the "Guangxi Radio and Television Cloud" smart radio and television ecological system, and vigorously promotes the "Beautiful Guangxi, Smart Radio and Television" project. It actively builds a comprehensive smart radio and television coverage network that spans five levels: region, city, county, township, and village. It promotes the integration and application of new technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, IPv6, and 5G with smart radio and television. It innovates in the integration of smart radio and television applications such as smart government affairs, smart party building, "Bright Project," smart healthcare, smart education, smart social security, smart transportation, smart poverty alleviation, smart cities, smart homes, and digital rural areas. It actively consolidates and expands the effectiveness of radio and television party media and government network services, and builds a more powerful mainstream media integration communication channel and main battlefield. At the same time, it fully leverages the advantages of Guangxi's location, builds the China-ASEAN Network Audiovisual Industry Base, and creates an information hub for the "New Silk Road of Network Film and Television towards ASEAN," serving the deep cooperation and development of China-ASEAN network cultural exchanges. In July 2019, Guangxi signed a cooperation framework agreement with the National Radio and Television Administration, and the China-ASEAN Network Audiovisual Industry Base was upgraded to an internationally co-built network audiovisual industry base. As of December 31, 2020, the company has 89 city and county branches, 3 wholly-owned subsidiaries, 1 holding subsidiary, 1 jointly controlled subsidiary, and 4 equity participation companies, with a total of 4,700 employees.
