Sociedad Exportadora de Cafe de las Cooperativas de Caficultores (Expocafe) is the exporter of coffee cooperatives in Colombia and has more than 30 years of experience in the coffee industry. The company was incorporated in the city of Bogota, as a result of a concerted process between the coffee growers, the Coffee Grower Cooperatives and the National Federation of Coffee Growers. That process crystallized on March 21, 1985 when the company was established. The company counts on SAP as its technological platform and maintains the ISO 9001 and BASC Quality certifications, which allows it to satisfactorily respond to the standards demanded by the global market in terms of product quality and safety. Expocafe includes as its competitive advantages the purchase structure of the coffee farmers cooperatives in the country. This structure is constituted by more than 500 coffee purchase points and 11 threshing plants, located throughout Colombia.
