SIS Cuba Control S.A. (Cuba)

SIS Cuba Control S.A. is a Cuban company located in La Habana. It was founded on September 4, 1961, with the main purpose of ensuring the supervision of sugar, honey, and alcohol. Over time, the company expanded its activities to meet the requirements of increasingly complex commercial relationships and to maintain an attractive and necessary service from a business perspective. In January 1995, SIS Cuba Control S.A. modified its structure and expanded its scope, registering under the name Servicios Internacionales de Supervisión, CUBACONTROL S.A., abbreviated as S.I.S. CUBACONTROL S.A. It is a wholly Cuban-owned commercial company, established through public deed No. 229 on January 20, 1995, before notary Lurdes Lucía Díaz-Canel Navarro. It is registered in the Mercantile Registry under book 161, page 05, sheet 1632 of the Registry of anonymous companies, and book 669, page 05, sheet 6714 of the Second Central Registry of La Habana. SIS Cuba Control S.A. acts as an independent third party, following the agreements between buyers and sellers in their contracts. It was initially subordinated to the Ministry of Foreign Trade (MINCEX) until 2016 when it became part of the Higher Management Organization, OSDE, CAUDAL S.A.
