In 2013 Severni energeticka a.s. bought the shares of the power station in Chvaletice from the CEZ group. Since 1st of August, 2015 the company is named Sev.en EC, a.s. The power station offers fully certificated energy products after the profess of combustion. For the production of energy, the company uses brown coal from the mining site of CSA. Sev.en EC also supplies heat to Chvaletice and Trnavka municipality. Since 2021 the company is named Elektrarna Chvaletice a.s.
