Toma A.S. is a company located in Otrokovice. It was established in 1935 as a result of the delimitation from the state enterprise Obuvnický průmysl – Svit Zlín. The company began its production activities in Otrokovice after the completion of the facility construction between 1930 and 1935. It was initially owned by Baťa, but later nationalized by a decree of the president. Another significant milestone in the company's development was its privatization. The privatization project was approved by the Ministry of Property Management on July 12, 1993. The project included a basic capital of 1,473,635 thousand Czech crowns, and the privatization method chosen was the coupon method, with an 81% share of the total number of company shares.
