Imperial Riviera d.d. is one of the top ten tourism companies in Croatia. It was formed by the merger of Hoteli Makarska d.d. and Imperial d.d. in June 2019. The company combines the quality and business tradition of Imperial and Hoteli Makarska, which have been in operation for over five decades. In November 2019, the company was recapitalized by Valamar Riviera d.d. and AZ fonds. The second phase of recapitalization was carried out in November 2021, also in partnership with Valamar Riviera d.d. and AZ fonds. In November 2019, the company acquired the Valamar Parentino Hotel, formerly known as Hotel Zagreb, in Poreč. In February 2022, the company expanded its operations to Dubrovnik by acquiring three properties: Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik, Club Dubrovnik Sunny Hotel by Valamar, and Valamar Tirena Hotel. Imperial Riviera offers its guests a sustainable and innovative tourism concept that stems from the diversity of destinations in Rab, Makarska, Poreč, and Dubrovnik. The company has a greater investment potential and a strategy for further growth and development.
