PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. (PGAS) is a state-owned enterprise which primarily engaged in the distribution and transmission of natural gas. As Indonesia's main natural gas provider, PGAS divides its business areas into three strategic business units to be found in western and eastern parts of Java, and Sumatra. PGAS manages transmission and distribution pipelines situated in six major distribution markets and two major transmission markets to serve industrial, commercial, and household customers. PGAS also strives to expand its market shares domestically and regionally by relentlessly developing new pipeline networks while enhancing its services. PGAS was founded in 1970 and based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company was listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2003 under the Main Board.
