Ansar Bank is a private Iranian credit institution headquartered in the city of Tehran. It was incorporated in 2009 and licensed by Iran’s Central Bank in 2010. Ansar Bank performs the full range of bank activities, including operational and transactional banking services, such as issuance of letter of guarantees, foreign currency exchange services, e-banking. It has over 600 branches across Iran. Its shares are traded on Tehran Stock Exchange. Ansar Bank, like all Iranian banks, operate under the principles of Islamic Sharia law, which bans the charge and payment of interest.
