Charkheshgar Company Public Joint Stock, located in Tehran, was registered as a private limited company in 1348. Its main purpose is to establish, maintain, and operate British Leyland diesel engines factories. The company is the sole manufacturer of heavy gearboxes and their parts for various vehicles, including passenger cars, vans, two-wheel drive vehicles, tractors, trucks, minibuses, and cars in Iran. Their product range includes 4 to 16-speed gearboxes with a maximum input torque ranging from 190 Nm to 2200 Nm. Charkheshgar Company is a major supplier of these gearboxes for domestic car production. They have also ventured into the production of passenger gearboxes and currently have the capability to manufacture them. Additionally, the company produces and supplies mechanical and hydraulic shoulder gearboxes for passenger cars and is working on developing a new generation of electric steering wheels. They also provide complete hydraulic steering systems for heavy vehicles.
