Cosar Pharmaceutical Co. is an Iranian producer of anti-biotics. The company commenced operations in 1974 under its previous name Chemico Pharmaceutical. It started with the production of oral antibiotics of the penicillin family and later on, it expanded to include in its portfolio amoxicillin, ampicillin and cloxacillin. In 2015 the company launched a new production line for general drugs in the forms of capsules, tablets, sachets and suspensions.
