Pars Oil Company Public Joint Stock, located in Tehran, was established in 1958. It initially produced and offered lubricants under the trade mark "SHELL" until 1978. The company began actual production in 1961, manufacturing 90,000 tons of engine and industrial oil, 12,000 tons of grease, and 10,000 tons of paraffin annually. Pars Oil Company became one of the largest producers of industrial and engine oils, as well as the main producer of grease in Iran. Recognized for its high-quality products and competitive prices, Pars Oil Company decided to promote its brand internationally. In 1963, the company advertised in the Time magazine to expand its presence in international markets. Currently, Pars Oil Company is a leading producer of various lubricants and by-products. It has gained a strong reputation in the lubricant industry across Iran, the Middle East, and Asia.
