Fabrica Elemente de Constructii was incorporated in 1952 under the name CPP (KПП), an integral part of the Chisinau International Trast. The company produces prefabricated concrete and reinforced concrete for the fields of infrastructure, civil, industrial, agricultural and other prefabricated buildings. In 1961 the factory merges with “Стройиндустрия” significantly increasing the production capacity, and in 1965 the company merges with Uzina de prefabricate din beton (Prefabricated Concrete Plant). In 1993 the factory became an independent economic unit known as “Uzina Elementelor de Beton din argila expandata or.Chisinau” (the "Plant of Expanded Concrete Elements in Chisinau"). In August 1994, the factory is registered as a joint stock company and being already one of the largest companies producing precast concrete and reinforced concrete in the Republic of Moldova.
