Gedeon Richter is the largest pharmaceutical producer in Hungary, which in 1996 opens a Moldovan-Hungarian joint venture in Moldova with the name "RihPanGal Farma" - the only exclusive distributor of Gedeon Richter's production on the Moldovan market. Later, in 2008, the plant opens its own pharmacy network in Moldova - 8 in Chisinau and 9 in other large municipalities in the country.
