Consorcio Ara S.A.B. de C.V. is a construction Industry´s Company specialized in the social housing segment, although it develops middle income, residential and residential plus neighborhoods too. It was founded in 1977 and eleven years later, in 1988, it was constituted like a joint-stock company. Nowadays the company is organized like a holding society of its operative subsidiaries. In 1996, the company began its participation in the Mexican Stock Exchange as well as its ADR quotations in New York.
