Industrial Perforadora de Campeche - IPC - is engaged in providing offshore and onshore oil well drilling and completion services. It has two bases of maritime operations located in Veracruz and Campeche, as well as onshore bases in Cardenas, Tabasco and Reynosa and Tampico, Tamaulipas. In 2007 it signed a five-year contract with Pemex Exploracion y Produccion to charter a semi-submersible drilling rig to operate at a water depth up to 10,000 feet (3,048 meters) underwater. This contract took effect at the end of 2010. It began operations in 1987 and it is part of Grupo R.
