It operates a telecommunication system in Latin America offering telephone services such as local phones, long distance nationwide and worldwide, as well as corporate networks, Internet, networks management, telephone equipment, satellite services and interconnection services with other providers. In April, 2011, America Movil acquired all outstanding shares of Telmex International (Telint), with that its equity reached 97.5%.
