Ilb Group Berhad (Malaysia)

ILB Group Berhad, located in Shah Alam, is a logistics company that has been providing services since 1973. It is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and has recently shifted its focus to investing in the solar renewable energy business. The company has divested most of its warehousing and logistic operations in recent years. Its subsidiaries and associated companies are involved in solar renewable energy ventures and investments in warehousing and logistics businesses. In 2015, the company entered the solar energy business in line with the Malaysian government's renewable energy strategies. It has invested RM100 million in two solar power plants in Malaysia, with a total capacity of 11MWac. One of the plants, owned by EVN Vision Sdn Bhd, is a 1MWac solar power plant in Seberang Perai, Penang. The other plant, owned by IL Solar Sdn Bhd, is a 10MWac solar power plant in Bukit Kayu Hitam. Both plants have long-term power purchase agreements with Tenaga Nasional Berhad. The Seberang Perai plant commenced operations in December 2016, while the Bukit Kayu Hitam plant was energized in December 2017.
