The Store Corporation Berhad, located in Shah Alam, is a well-established company that was founded in 1968. It is recognized as the largest and oldest existing supermarket and departmental chain in Malaysia, according to The Malaysia Book of Records since 2001. The company currently operates 75 outlets, covering approximately 1 million square meters of retail space across Malaysia. The Store Group offers a wide range of products, including fresh produce, various types of food and beverage, electrical appliances, apparels, footwear, bags, household items, baby and children's products, cosmetics, and more. Over the span of 47 years, The Store Group has grown in stature and has become the leading retailer in the country. The company's history dates back to the opening of its first outlet, The Store Supermarket & Departmental Store, in Bukit Mertajam, Penang in 1968. In 1994, The Store Group was listed on Bursa Malaysia. In 1995, Pacific Hypermarket & Departmental Store was established, followed by the addition of Milimewa Superstore to the Group in 2005. The Store Group currently operates 49 The Store Supermarket & Departmental Store outlets, 9 Pacific Hypermarket & Departmental Store outlets in Peninsular Malaysia, and 17 Milimewa Superstores in Sabah, East Malaysia.
